ALOHA Everyone! Yes, today's blog is truly about "quantum dining" which, translated, means dining with a copy of QUANTUM DEATH (Savant 2016) by A. G. Hayes with, you guessed it, me, Raymond Gaynor, aka Gary Martine, D. S. Janik and/or Daniel S. Janik. This afternoon, I visited a favorite Vietnamese restaurant that serves delicious Pho, a soup not unlike Japanese Ramen but with a totally different taste.

Yum. While waiting, I displayed my newest book and generated some surprising interest. First, although I'd been at this restaurant several times before, I'd never claimed my profession as an author. Especially a thriller author. Especially authoring alongside multi-award-winning thriller author, A. G. Hayes. Even more especially, as part of his widely acclaimed Koski and Falk Secret Agent series (QD is book #7 in this series), and his Kate Keenan Special Assignment series (QD is book #2 in this series). Second, was my hat. It was a big hit. One guest wanted me to sign it and give it to him. Hmmm.

The story centers around a series of mysterious events that, each time begin with the interruption of all electronic devices in a remote area followed by an online "auction," the effects on the United States, it's northern neighbor Canada and its southern neighbor, Mexico, amplifying with each event. It doesn't take long for Cerebrus agents Susan Koski and Joseph Falk to ascertain that the auctions are for ownership of broad regions of the United States. But who is auctioning off the USA, who's bidding for and buying the various regions, and why? More important, what is the endgame?

Enter the mysterious Quantum Death Machine, bitcoins, the North Koreans and Chinese, a Russian nuclear submarine and the United States brought to its knees, and the result is a non-stop thriller that's impossible to put down.

And what about Koski and Falk's growing romance? Can it survive Quantum Death?

Sincerely,
Raymond Gaynor
