My sojourn in the world of things feudal Japanese having come to an end, I'm now flying high over the Pacific on my way to my beloved San Francisco with a short stop in Honolulu, for a last Mai Tai, of course.  My otherwise mundane trip (compared to "LOST") livened up briefly when I joined a Sophia's m/m erotic romance author's discussion at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sophia_titheniel/. Fun and even more interesting when the lovely passenger sitting next to me looked over onto the screen of my computer and piped out, "Hey, you're Gary Martine?  Really?  I've read your book 'KIngsley and I' and I loved it!"  What author hasn't waited his life for just such a moment. 

I added several excerpts from the second book in the series entitled "Kingsley & I Together," as well as talked a bit about "Total Meltdown" which I co-authored with the incomparable William Maltese (William if you're out there somewhere listening, I love you) soon to be released by Wildside/Borgo.  I also mentioned my field researches in Hawaii and Japan which I am just now completing for an historical m/m erotic romance entitled "The Sword of Kamehameha."  And, yes, the third in the Kingsley & I series, tentatively entitled "Kingsley & I Unlocked" is finished and will be in MLR Press' loving hands as soon as "Kingsley & I Together" has had a fair chance. 

I also wrote briefly about my m/m erotic romance science fiction sequel to "Total Meltdown" entitled "The Edge of Madness" that takes up 30 years in the future after the total meltdown of the former USA.  NewAmerica embraces sociotechnology - ContraSpray, Eugenor's, CandyShades, Adaptive Reconstructive Surgery, SalsaSex - and the effects these seminal (you heard it right) technologies have on the lives of Draff Rob Brie, his male lover Billie Frann Frank and their unshakably constant female companion Simi Andry Jan are nothing less than mind-blowing.  Sex - there's more kinds served more ways than I've ever served before, and the whole smorgassbord is all for my readers' pleasure.
