I was pleased to see that my most recent book, QUANTUM DEATH (Savant 2016), published with multi-award-winning thriller writer A. G. Hayes, has received an Amsterdam Book Festival Award. While set throughout the USA and Pacific including Hawaii, the impact of the technology involved, that of quantum physics and more specifically the quantum singularity, will be of interest to everyone following CERN's new particle Super-Collider and the search for new particle characteristics. The Super-Collider being located in central European Union, I felt the Amsterdam award both topically and regionally justified.

But QUANTUM DEATH (Savant 2016) isn't just about technology. It also uncovers the growing romantic relationship between Cerebrus agents Koski and Falk while they strive as a team to unravel and declaw some of the most difficult problems facing our society today. Inhuman technology verses very human romance. What two topics could be better contrasted side-by-side in today's increasingly complex global society?

My personal thanks to the Amsterdam Book Festival folks for choosing QUANTUM DEATH (Savant 2016) for recognition!
