It is a pleasure to welcome you to my new blog site (in addition to my LiveJournal at garymartine.livejournal.com).  This is where I'll be doing most of my day-to-day author blogging - I reserve my LiveJournal for select major events.  Please feel free to post to this blog your thoughts, ideas, comments and feedback on any and all issues.  I love hearing from readers and especially look forward to hearing from YOU.  Lurk if you like, but a post is the most!  So what's up at this moment? 

Well, first, Kingsley and I Together, the second in my m/m erotic romance "Kingsley & I" series by MLR Press was just released and things are just beginning to heat up.  Publicity has just begun and I find it a wonderfully enjoyable process not only to get the word out, but to hear from friends, readers and reviewers, and, yes, especially from Kingsley.  One quick comment:  Yes, there IS a third book tentatively entitled "Kingsley & I - The Lock" and yes, it's already written.  What am I working on now?  A fourth book in which Kingsly & I take a cruise to Hawaii. 

Second, I just finished Total Meltdown, the first in a new m/m erotic romance political thriller "Tripler and Clarke" series by Wildside/Borgo Press.  It should be released sometime soon in 2009.  Check here for details!  I enjoyed writing this work with the incomparable m/m erotic romance writer William Maltese. But more of that later!

Some friends asked me what's next, so since you're here I'll give you a little privileged gossip:  I'm right now in Hawaii, working on a work tentatively entitled "The Sword of Kamehameha" about along lost sword and the affect it has on generation after generation of holders.  It's a deep dive into Hawaiiana, one I hope will catch your interest and eventually accolades. 

For now, the beach is calling, so it's time to take my beach chair and trusty MacBook out into the gorgeous sunlight and slowly let myself immerse into the local culture.  My favorite hang out:  Kaimana Beach.  Just look for a handsome guy with a white MacBook and say hello!
